Summer school is full of learning AND fun at Arcadia! The students are focused on an Olympic theme. Students are learning about the Ancient Olympics and the Olympics that will be starting in just under two weeks. This week the students created “Olympic divers” out of specific materials and tried to see which would make the least splash. While creating these amazing “divers” the students learned about buoyancy and what it takes to do the perfect dive. They have also been practicing their multiplication, telling time, and working on how to add fractions with different denominators. In reading the students participated in an escape room activity, after finishing up their research project on an Olympic athlete that they were interested in. Art has also been a big highlight of the students' week with the various origami creations and paintings that turned out fabulous. It’s been such an amazing time with the Amazing Arcadia Students!

Happy 4th of July!
